Join us in BurnerSphere for an artist talk with Antwane Lee, lead artist and designer of The Solar Shrine Project. Antwane will share the story, intention, and making of two of his Burning Man works: The Solar Shrine and Pillar of Po Tolo.

This conversation explores how these pieces draw from African cosmology, Afrofuturism, science fiction, and spiritual architecture to create holistic environments that connect art, history, and ritual. Antwane will discuss his creative process, the symbolism embedded in each structure, and what it means to build large scale participatory art in the desert.

Come hear directly from the artist about how these works came to life and the ideas they are meant to carry forward beyond the playa.
