Three days of building on Burning Man’s virtual Playa. What did the IMMERSIVE X community create?

Throughout the festival, teams of Metanauts have been imagining, building, and evolving their own camps in BurnerSphere – transforming a piece of the virtual Playa into spaces of their own.

Now Athena Demos and Doug Jacobsen lead the community on a world hop through the creations of the BurnerSphere Build-a-Thon. Visit the camps, meet their builders, and discover how different teams used the same no-code tools to create entirely different places, ideas, and experiences.

Part showcase, part world tour, and part community celebration, The Great Build Tour brings Burning Man’s participatory principle full circle: don’t just visit the Playa – help create it.

You don’t need to have participated in the Build-a-Thon to join the tour.
