Get ready for an experience that takes you from the dust of Black Rock City to the top of the world.

Join us for a one-of-a-kind event in BurnerSphere as adventurer and filmmaker Alex Harz shares breathtaking 360° footage from his real-life climb of Mt. Everest, part of his immersive documentary series The Quest: Everest. This project captures a full expedition to the summit, offering a rare, first-person perspective of what it takes to journey through the Khumbu Valley, navigate the infamous Icefall, and reach the highest point on Earth (THE QUEST: Everest).

But this isn’t just a screening.

You’ll step into a custom world created by Doug Jacobson, where a version of Everest rises around you. Together, as avatars, we’ll explore, climb, and experience the scale and intensity of the mountain while Alex guides us through the story behind the footage, the challenges he faced, and the deeper meaning of the journey.

The Quest: Everest was created to bring audiences as close as possible to the experience of climbing Everest without the extreme risk, offering what has been described as the closest thing to summiting the mountain outside of actually being there.

This is your chance to:
• Experience Everest in immersive 360°
• Hear firsthand stories from the expedition
• Ask Alex your questions live, in avatar, in real time

From life-and-death decisions at altitude to the profound cultural and spiritual impact of the journey, this is more than an adventure story. It is a shared exploration of human limits, resilience, and what it means to pursue something truly monumental.

Come climb with us.
