THE QUEST: Everest VR
May 14, 2026

A groundbreaking, immersive documentary by adventurer, filmmaker, and Mt. Everest summiteer Alex Harz.

BurnerSphere Takes Audiences to the Top of the World with Mt. Everest Summiteer and Filmmaker Alex Harz

This is not a screening. This is a climb.

On Thursday, May 14 at 10:00 AM PT and again at 6:00 PM PT, BurnerSphere participants will step into a custom virtual world built by Co-producer and world builder Doug Jacobson, where a version of Mt. Everest rises around them. Together, as avatars, they will explore the scale and intensity of the mountain while Alex guides them through breathtaking 360° footage captured during his real-life summit expedition — sharing the stories, decisions, and deeply human moments that defined the journey.

From navigating the infamous Khumbu Icefall to life-and-death decisions at altitude to the profound cultural and spiritual weight of the mountain, this event is more than an adventure story. It is a shared exploration of human limits, resilience, and what it means to pursue something truly monumental.

Participants will be able to ask Alex their questions live, in avatar, in real time — making this one of the most intimate and immersive ways an audience has ever engaged with an Everest expedition.

Be part of this shared moment in BurnerSphere.
